Why You Love Louisiana
|
Your Favorite Louisiana Bands
I like Cajun love songs. The slow, soft romantic ones you can waltz to.
|
Your Favorite Louisiana Food
red beans and rice, Crawfish dishes, Boudin, dirty rice , cajun rice and gravy, etc.
|
Your Favorite Louisiana Memories
family gatherings with good food and cajun music. crawfishing, swimming and rowing boats down the bayou. cajun dancing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. catching lighting bugs in a mason jar at night down on the Bayou with my friends and brothers. Fishing with a cane pole with crickets for bait . Sitting on the banks of the Bayou on a warm summer night and listening to the croaking of the Bull frogs and starring up at a beautiful summer night sky full of stars. I remember neighbors coming over at night to visit and everyone would sit on the front porch and Daddy would play the guitar and everyone would be singing and speaking in Cajun French. The men would burn a large mound of hay to smoke the mosquitos away and keep them from biting us. laughing and making merry . Oh! such wonderful happy memories!

Your Favorite Places to Visit in Louisiana
Marksville where my mother, sister and brother live with thier families. I allso like to visit Cottonport where i was born and raised . The bayou that flows through the town brings back so many memories of my cajun friends and my brothers where we fished, swam, rowed boats and floated on home made rafts.

Things you have not done in Louisiana, but would like to
I would like to move back to Louisiana and never again leave from there. It would be wonderful to live near my cajun family and loved ones.

Your Hurricane Story
Most of the time we had strong winds, lots of rain and sometimes flooding. Maybe the chicken house would get blown over etc. But we never experienced any thing as awfull as the people in New Orleans did.
